Event Description

Open water swim practice in Corona Del Mar. Get your surf entry practice here! Meet at the showers. Bring your wetsuit!

Afterward, for those who dare, will ride with breakpoints to turn back and/or catch up.

No one gets' left behind.

8:00 AM - 8:50 AM SWIM (Buddy's will be assigned @ 7:45 AM to start swimming at 8:00 AM)

8:51 AM - 9:15 AM T1 Transition
9:16 AM - 11:00 AM Bike

Checkpoint 1 - Ride from CDM to Harvard (Taking Mountain to the Sea Trail through BackBay (Round trip 23 miles)
Checkpoint 2 - Ride from Harvard to Portola using Mountain to the Sea trail (CDM to this point 35 miles)
Checkpoint 3 - Portola to Bake then back to CDM (mileage - 45+.)

Avg Speed 14-18 MPH

Be prepared to start the bike between 9:15 & 9:30. Don't bother with a long shower after the swim, grab your bike and GO!

We will miss Shark Bait this Sunday, have fun in Carlsbad!
